happy rain was founded on 01.01.1988 as a small family business by Klaus and Ilse Würflingsdobler. We are proud, but also grateful, for the exemplary development from a small business to Europe's market leader with worldwide distribution.

Today, happy rain is the center of innovative product development, efficient quality management, trendy, strong-selling own and licensed brands and competitive prices. We design specific and customized solutions for our global customers, from exclusive promotional umbrellas to a comprehensive range of private label umbrellas, benefiting from our decades of experience as a specialist in the umbrella sector.

14,000 square meters of floor space and over 10,000 square meters of company buildings are now, after several acquisitions, conversions and extensions, where we believe it makes the most sense, with the possibility of future investments.

The specialized and highly motivated team of employees in Simbach guarantees our success. Our employees at the subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China help to ensure this, and more than three thousand people in China and Cambodia are involved in the manufacture of the products and their primary materials.

All financial years, without exception, have been in the black, which is proof of the company's consistency.
